Letters from James Armstrong and Katherine "Kate" Armstrong to Canada that were sent between 1850 and 1870.
Many of them are addressed to William McCoy though they were mainly intended for his wife who was born Mary Sarah Armstrong.
Letters from Kate were often addressed 'Dear brother and sister'. Kate eventually married Samuel Overin and signed herself as Kate Overin.

There is one 1850 letter from James Armstrong (Junior) then in Cincinnati to his his sister Mary Sarah.
Another sad 1863 letter is from Jane Armstrong the wife of Robert Armstrong where she reports his death to his family.
